The group has extensive experience in:

• Analytical modelling of highly optimized structures
• Nonlinear stability analysis
• Experimental investigation of metal foams and other composites
• Material characterization with ultrasonics.

CLIMATE INNOVATION

In 2016, CUT became a partner of Climate – KIC, one of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology Knowledge & Innovation Communities. Since then our Group, has been working on innovation activities as well as graduate and professional activities pertinent to climate innovation and entrepreneurship.

ENGINEERING EDUCATION INNOVATION

Changing trends in the industry as well as different student sets require new forms of education offerings to ensure that our graduates will have the required skills set to “learn, unlearn and relearn. As a Group we have designed and implemented educational materials and methods for structural mechanics, design, systems innovation and entrepreneurship in conjunction with other international universities and SMEs.
